Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Last updated: March 2026

Our Commitment

Verified Building Services Limited is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chain.

We recognise that modern slavery can take many forms, including forced labour, human trafficking, debt bondage and exploitation of workers. We have a zero-tolerance approach to such practices and expect the same standards from all organisations and contractors we work with.

Our Business

Verified Building Services Limited provides property inspection, advisory and building services across the United Kingdom.

Our services may include:

  • property inspections and reporting

  • contractor coordination

  • property remediation works

  • home improvement services.

Where appropriate we appoint qualified third-party contractors and specialists to undertake work on behalf of our clients.

Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain primarily consists of:

  • building contractors

  • specialist surveyors

  • inspection professionals

  • tradespeople and construction service providers.

We recognise that the construction sector can present a higher risk of labour exploitation and therefore take reasonable steps to ensure that contractors and suppliers operate in a responsible and lawful manner.

Due Diligence and Contractor Standards

Before engaging contractors or suppliers, we take reasonable steps to ensure that they:

  • operate legitimate businesses

  • comply with UK employment and labour laws

  • maintain appropriate insurance and professional standards

  • operate fair working practices.

Where appropriate, we may request evidence of contractor insurance, regulatory compliance and business legitimacy before engaging suppliers.

We expect all contractors and suppliers to ensure that workers are employed voluntarily, treated fairly, and paid in accordance with applicable law.

Reporting Concerns

We encourage anyone working with us, including contractors, partners and clients, to raise concerns if they suspect any form of modern slavery or unethical labour practices.

Concerns may be reported confidentially by contacting:

Ongoing Commitment

Verified Building Services Limited will continue to review its working practices and relationships with contractors to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place within our business or supply chain.
